K guys, so the raid didn't go ahead tonight, so it's been re-scheduled for Monday night at 7.30pm.

Unfortunate with the raid tonight, few too melee made it hard to tell who the Rancor was going for and made for a fair amount of extra damage to heal when he swiped at them all, think we might need to look at a better mix of range and melee for Karagga's, maybe max 2 melee DPS in the signups. Possibly a lack of top DPS as well, was a night of tough enrages all around I think. I reckon stick to EV for normals for the moment, much easier.

I think I might finally be starting to find my feet with this whole tanking lark (emphasis on the starting bit). Hopefully next time I'll come out of it looking more competent. Tonight was actually fun despite the walls we ran into. Looking forward to more :D

Well yeah, we are doing EV as well but then you can do max 1 normal raid a week. Not a problem for us people who are geared but people starting out probably want to do more then 1 a week.

How far did you get? Looking at the group I think there might have been a lack of DPS and general inexperience in the mechanics of the bosses. I originally proposed to have max 2 new DPS in the group, but with so many new 50's joining and the 'older' 50's already having all the gear from normal it's hard to accomplish that.

Now that we know that we can plan accordingly though, and put more geared people in the Karagga's group from now on.
